Andrzej Gniazdowski

Andrzej Gniazdowski (1964) is the philosopher, translator and the historian of ideas. His areas of competence are history of the phenomenological movement and history of radicalism. He wrote i.a. Philosophy and Guillotine. The Traditionalism of Joseph de Maistre as a Political Hermeneutics (in Polish, 1996) and The Antinomies of Radicalism. The Political Phenomenology in Germany 1914-1933 (in Polish, 2015). As associate professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Currently he is working on a research project: The Phenomenology of the State. The Critical-Historical Introduction. He published in “Phenomenologica,” “Phainomena,” “Horizon” and “Les Études Philosophiques.”
