Daniel H. Weiss is Polonsky-Coexist Senior Lecturer in Jewish Studies at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, UK. He is the author of Paradox and the Prophets: Hermann Cohen and the Indirect Communication of Religion (Oxford University Press) and co-editor of Tsimtsum and Modernity: Lurianic Heritage in Modern Philosophy and Theology (De Gruyter) and of Scripture and Violence (Routledge). He is actively involved in the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme and in Scriptural Reasoning.
