Marta Valdmane
Marta Valdmane works as Expert at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Faculty of Humanities, University of Latvia, Latvia. She obtained a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Latvia in 2020, and has continued with doctoral studies in philosophy from 2020 until 2025. Her main areas of research are biopolitics, ethics, social and political philosophy, as well as aspects of philosophy of artificial intelligence. She is a lecturer in philosophy at the Art Academy of Latvia and Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, and teaches philosophy at Riga State Gymnasium No. 1, Latvia.
