Ph.D. After some 25 years in the computer and high-tech industries, Dr. Herstein is now an Independent Scholar working on the philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead, especially as this relates to the philosophy of logic, gravitational cosmology, and measurement. Dr. Herstein currently keeps house with his two cats, who despair of him ever learning anything of interest.
