A Professor Emeritus of Philosophy of Science, Logic and Epistemology at University Paris X Nanterre. Main topics of research: Philosophy of Mathematics, Emmanuel Levinas’ thought, Jewish Tradition, comparison between French Thought and Analytic Philosophy. Since 2007 he develops his personal philosophy “ethanalyse”, a post-Levinasian Philosophy of Culture. Author of several books, among which Philosophie des mathématiques (2008), L’humanité de l’homme Levinas vivant II (2011), Partages du sens (2014), Crépuscule du théorique? (2016) and Le fait juif (2017).
